Nickel Brook took some of the best Pinot Noir barrels from the Niagara wine region and tossed their Bolshevik Bastard Imperial Stout in it? I mean, what have they done to the soft oak and subtle, earthy fruit notes from the barrel? Their Imperial Stout has WAY too much chocolate, coffee and dark fruit flavours for the delicate notes imparted by the barrel-aging process. I don’t know what they think they’re doing. Wheat Ale

Sometimes our neighbours are just too enticing to resist! In this case, our newest ward-winning product pays homage to our naughty neighbours to the south, as our American Pale Ale has something for everyone! For hop lovers, the huge aroma of citrus and pine greet the nose and the hops continue on the palate as hoppy flavour persists, leaving a remarkably easy drinking crisp, dry finish. We pack all this hop aroma and flavour in a brew that is only 4.9% on purpose, which leaves a hugely sessionable beer that is perfectly refreshing on hot summer days! No additives. No preservatives. Naturally carbonated for a smooth, crisp finish.

To be immodest one has to lack humility and decency. With our ‘Immodest’ Imperial IPA, we achieved just that! Obscene use of Citra and Simcoe hops will attack your senses with bright citrus fruit, balanced with earthy pine notes. The indecency doesn’t stop there, as it packs a wallop at 9% but you won’t notice because it drinks so remarkable smooth. Don’t worry, you’re modesty isn’t needed here!

A boldly hopped, full bodied American style IPA. Headstock IPA is brewed primarily with nugget hops, which gives rise to a distinct hop flavor, bitterness and aroma. It also uses blend of classic European and North American malts to enhance the body and full flavour. No additives. No Preservatives. Naturally carbonated for a smooth, crisp finish.

Wicked Awesome IPA is our new New England-style IPA, brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops and a Vermont ale yeast. Clocking in at 6.5%ABV, the beer is hazy and juicy with big orange and tangerine aromas, dank tropical flavours and a smooth, full-bodied finish.

Sour IPA

Another member of our bastard family has risen, this time however, with the addition of six pounds of whole Detour coffee beans to every barrel. This beautiful brew packs a delicious punch. Black in colour with a rich head, and distinct aromas of fresh pressed coffee, chocolate, vanilla, dark fruit, spice, and liquorice. The rich flavours persist on the palate with creamy texture and a warming bourbon finish.

Citra Dry-Hopped IPA with Mango, Papaya, and Guava As this Winter drags on we’re all starting to dream of warm summer days. These dreams have rooted themselves deeply in the minds of our brewers this month, and has inspired them to create a beer that matched that tropical bliss. Tropic Like It’s Hot is a beautifully hazy IPA that is bursting with tropical fruit. Dry hopped with Citra, the aroma punches with bright citrus notes. This adult fruit punch drinks like juice due to the massive addition of Mango, Papaya, and Guava, and finishes with a refreshing wallop of tropical tang. All you have to do is kick your feet up and get your palate ready to take a well-deserved vacation with this crushable brew.
This tropical IPA shines with a brilliant orange colour and a soft beige head. According to our brewers, the aroma from this brew is like “being punched in the face with a del monte fruit bowl.”

This unique brew is a tribute to fresh and natural ingredients. Combining sea salt, and cold-pressed cucumber and lime juice creates the perfect thirst-quenching beer.
