This beer was built to cleanse and refresh. A straw coloured golden beer with light white head on top. The light aroma brings grainy pilsner malts, fresh aromatic hops and nuances of dried fruit. On the palate it is crisp, lightly hopped beer with an unassuming ability to quench your thirst.

Brewed with local maple syrup you’d think this beer would be sweet, but think again! Maple flavours are balanced perfectly with a slightly bitter finish, cleansing the palette for more! Please note: This is a seasonal beer, available March to June.

American IPA

Hibernaut pours a ruby-fringed mahogany; reminiscent of a favourite leather chair. Taste and aroma complement each other to bring baked goods and dark chocolate while higher alcohol content warms you throughout. This is a drink to be savoured after dinner or to journey with through the dark hours as fall heads inexorably towards winter.

Rich malt sweetness dominates the nose, complimented by dark fruits reminiscent of currant. A clean lager, starting sweet before descending into darker malt qualities. Low hop bitterness and a pleasing warmth imparted by the higher alcohol content.

A sensationally easy drinking amber brown beer with considerable depth given its mild manner. The aroma hints at caramel and cocoa. It is smooth and lightly carbonated leaning towards nuts, lightly caramel and a hint of mocha.

Inspired by American Pale Ales emerging from the West Coast. It pours a rich copper colour and offers a melon and citrus aroma with a bright hop flavour. The moderate malt character supports the delicate hops that highlights this style.

The Dragon opened in downtown Guelph in 1998. This comic and games store has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailing Award, recognizing it as one of the best comic stores in the world. Now, the Dragon is 19 years old, and what better way to celebrate than to make a beer! In a truly local collaboration, two Guelph businesses have come together to create this blackened pilsner, brewed with the fire of real dragons.

A malty German lager, clean, with bready flavours from the predominately Munich malt bill. Pours a deep amber and despite an initial flavour that implies a sweet beer, the subdued bitterness of the noble hops balances to result in a medium bodied relatively dry beer.
